These terms are an agreement between you and Aito Ventures Pte. Ltd. (“we”, “us”) for the Detune iPhone app and the getdetune.com website (together, the “Services”). By downloading or using the Services you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the app. Where the two conflict, these terms take precedence to the extent Apple’s agreement allows.

Licence

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to install and use Detune on Apple devices you own or control, for your own learning and music making. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse-engineer or extract the app, its lessons, audio, narration or synth engine, except where the law expressly allows.

Your music is yours

Sounds and patches you create in Detune belong to you. You can use them however you like, including commercially. Lesson content, narration, sample material and the app itself remain ours.

Pro subscriptions

Detune is free to download. Some lessons, modules and features require a Pro subscription.

Pro is offered as a yearly plan and a monthly plan. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase, and the subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
The yearly plan may include a free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts and you are charged for the first year. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
You can manage or cancel your subscription in your iPhone’s Settings under Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for; we do not offer partial refunds for that period.
Refunds are decided by Apple under its own policies. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

We may change Pro prices for future periods. If we do, Apple will notify you and ask you to agree before the new price applies.

Acceptable use

Do not use the Services to break the law, to interfere with their operation, or to attempt to gain access to our systems. Do not resell or redistribute lesson content.

Changes to the Services

We update Detune regularly. Lessons and features may be added, changed or removed. We will try to give notice of changes that reduce what a Pro subscription includes.

Disclaimer

The Services are provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we make no warranties, express or implied, including about fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. Protect your hearing and keep the volume at a comfortable level.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the Services, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Termination

You can stop using the Services at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Courts in Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction, except that you may rely on mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
